$2,000 Stipend for Athletes On Hold

After more than one third of the Division I schools expressed concern, the NCAA decided to suspend the new rule allowing student-athletes to get paid $2,000 above and beyond the cost of tuition, room & board, fees and books.

Division I Board of Directors will meet again in January at the NCAA convention to see if it can address coaches' concerns and issue a revised ruling.
